Konstantin Sobolevskiy - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sobolevskiy was appointed Chief Executive Officer on October 28, 2010. Mr. Sobolevskiy currently holds the position of Senior Lawyer at Severstal Gold LLC, a subsidiary of OAO Severstal. Previously, he held the positions of lawyer of Gold Division and lawyer at Severstal Resources, the mining division of OAO Severstal. Prior to that, he held senior legal positions in Bank VTB North-West. He graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University with law degree in 2005. Mr. Sobolevskiy is fluent in English and Russian.

 
Yury Lopukhin - Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Lopukhin was appointed Chief Financial Officer on January 19, 2011. He currently holds the position of Senior Financial Manager at Severstal Gold LLC, a subsidiary of OAO Severstal. Mr. Lopukhin has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at OJSC Buryatzoloto. Prior to that, he held the positions of Senior Manager of Strategy at Severstal Resources and Consultant at Russian Investors. He graduated from Higher School of Economics in Moscow with M.A. in Economics in 2000. Mr. Lopukhin is fluent in English.

 
Edward O. Villeneuve - Vice President Health, Safety and Environment

Mr. Villeneuve was appointed Vice President Health, Safety and Environment in January 2008. Mr. Villeneuve has worked in the health, safety and environment area of the mining industry for more that 35 years. During this period he has provided leadership in the development and implementation of various new environment, health and safety programmes and activities with Noranda Inc., Falconbridge Ltd. and, most recently, as Manager of Health and Safety with Xstrata Copper Canada. Mr. Villeneuve is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a B.Sc. degree in Biology in 1972. Throughout his career, he has served on many Technical Committees and Associations with mandates to establish auditing standards and ISO specification standards, including serving as President of the Quebec Industrial Hygiene Association and Chair of the American Industrial Hygiene Conference in Montreal. He has organized numerous conferences and delivered several papers on topics related to industrial hygiene, environmental management, environmental auditing and safety.

Evgeny Petrov - General Director of OJSC Buryatzoloto

Mr. Petrov was appointed General Director of OJSC Buryatzoloto in September 2011. He has been a director of Irokinda mine, operated by Buryatzoloto, since June 2009 and has been working at Buryatzoloto since 1995. Mr. Petrov graduated from Chita Mining College in Russia in 1995 and also has a degree in economics from the Baikal State University of Economics and Law in Irkutsk, Russia.

 
Mine Management:


 
Marco Kelly - General Manager of Somita SA

Mr. Kelly joined High River at the Taparko Mine in 2005 where he has held positions as Mine Superintendent, Mine Manager, and most recently, General Manager. Prior to joining High River, he held various operating and supervisory roles at mines in Quebec, Canada, with MSV Resources, Ross Finlay, and Quebec Cartier Mining; and in Mali, West Africa, with DTP Terrassement, a division of Bouyges. He is a graduate of the Mining Technology course at the CEGEP de L'Abitibi Temiscamingue.

 
Alexander Golovanov - General Manager of Berezitovy Rudnik LLC

Mr. Golovanov was appointed as Executive Director (General Manager) of Berezitovy Rudnik LLC. He has extensive experience in the management of gold operations in the Zabaykalskiy Kray in Russia, having previously acted as General Manager of the Aprelkovo Mine, a subsidiary of OAO Severstal. Prior to that, Mr. Golovanov was at the head of several companies in Russia. His previous positions include CEO of Sibir LLC, Director of leasing company Respect and Deputy CEO of Invest-Ugol LLC. He also spent eight years as Deputy CEO and Technical Director of the West-Kazakhstan Copper Complex, part of the Kazakhmys Corporation in Kazakhstan.
